Four clinical studies have been successfully completed in co-operation with the University Eye Clinic Academic Hospital Maastricht and the School for Nutrition, Toxicology and Metabolism (NUTRIM) at Maastricht, and Wageningen University & Research centre. A international multicenter study is on-going in leading research institutions in the field of ophthalmology, respectively Tufts University in Boston (USA), Royal Eye Hospital in Manchester (GB) and Universitäts Augenklinik in Bonn (Germany).
MacuView is clinically proven effective and well tolerated in long term daily consumption according to the highest scientific and regulatory standards. Below, the results of the first major placebo-controlled, double blind clinical study are presented.
